This site is a tribute to Patricia Ann Sheehan who was born on 22nd February 1961.


Patricia or Tricia as she was more commonly known was the very definition of a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. Tricia has always been known for her strength and resilience but the last five years for those that have known her have shown us all how much of a fighter Tricia really was. Cancer and it’s debilitating treatment requirements took its toll on Tricia but you would never have known it, and in the first few years with the support of Dave fought through treatment and operations and made what seemed to be short work of the disease.


When Dave suddenly passed in January 2019 Tricia was made to deal with a situation no one thought possible, the fight against cancer without her beloved husband. Not only did Tricia have to fight a now well established battle against Cancer but also had to come to terms with the battle continuing without her soulmate. But without a break in stride she fought and continued to ensure that her grandchildren, Lilly, Harper (and later Harry) would always know the love that exist in her for them all.


Eventually however, the cancer became stronger and on the 21st December 2020 Tricia passed while in the incredible care of the Rowans hospice. In Tricia’s final few weeks the decline in her health was rapid and surrounded by her sons left to once again be with her forever love Dave.


Tricia touched so many peoples hearts and lives and it is extremely heartwarming to the read comments and stories from those people that knew her and spent time with her. Unfortunately with current restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 outbreak the funeral will be a closed affair, however we have details of a live webcast for those wishing to pay their respects. Tricia’s funeral will take place on 15th January at 10am with details for the webcast below.
